AS part of a national drive to involve more people in the sport, Barry Tennis Club has launched a series of free sessions for parents and children.
"Play Tennis for Free" began at the Barry Island-based club on Saturday and further sessions, in conjunction with the "Great British Tennis Weekend" initiative, are planned for Saturdays, June 21 and 28, and July 19.
A club spokeswoman said: "Tennis is a great way to exercise and fun for the whole family."
Further details about the sessions and the club's new mini section can be found on their website - www.barrytennis.co.uk - with a GBTW link to book the free sessions.
