IN THE Barry Darts League, Premier Division leaders Cwm Talwg suffered a surprise 5-4 away defeat to Dartonians. Wayne Harris hit a 108 out shot during the match.
BFC Allsorts moved into top spot with an 8-1 victory over Billy Ghosts, with Nick Price hitting a 180. Despite being a player short, Plastics C achieved a 5-4 away win against Park Weasels, while Poachers kept up the pressure on the leaders with a 7-2 win over Windsor Nomads. Jon Hurn, Richie Williams and Gareth Owens all hit 180s.
In the First Division, Throws of Despair extended their lead at the top with a 6-3 win over Pat's 26s. Chris Lawday hit a 180 and 117out shot and Emma Williams hit her first competitive 180 and and 80 out shot.
Gillian Edwards has won the league's ladies' singles championship for the second year running, beating Dianne Bushen in the final. Congratulations to both ladies and thanks to all who turned up on the night.
