FOR the first time ever Barry Town United are offering supporters the chance to become a part of the club.

Club secretary David Cole described the newly launched Official Club Membership offer as not just an opportunity to help the club financially but a chance to become an active part of the team.

He said: "This is about both bringing some money into the club but also putting one of our promises into place.

"When we took over the club, one of our big things was wanting our club to be part of the community. It's the community that owns the club.

"No one person owns the club, this is your chance to become a member and have your say in the club.

"You're not just a supporter, you're more than a supporter. This is your chance to be a part of it."

Membership for the claender year of 2014 costs £20 and benefits include an official membership certificate, acknowledgement in match day programmes and on the official website, priority book and discounts for away travel, pre-season games and awards events, exclusive email updates direct from the club and entry into the Members' prize draw at Christmas.

In addition to these benefits, all members of Barry Town United will have the opportunity to vote for the members’ Player of the Season and also to be part of an end-of-season commemorative photograph with the team at Jenner Park.

Memberships forms are available from or can be picked up from David Cole at home games.
