A BARRY secondary school floored the opposition at a sporting championships, recently.
Ysgol Bro Morgannwg Year 7, 8 and 9 pupils took home prizes after they competed in the Cardiff & Vale County Novice Gymnastics competition at Whitchurch High School, Cardiff, last month.
Year 7 boys and Year 8 and 9 girls became county champions with Year 8 and 9 boys finishing second in the county, with year 7 girls doing the school proud.
The successful teams then went on to the All Wales Novice Gymnastics competition at the Welsh Institute of Sport, Sophia Gardens on Monday, November 25.
After a full day of competing, Year 7, 8 and 9 boys and Year 8 and 9 girls confirmed their abilities by becoming Welsh Champions.
The school congratulated all the squad on the fantastic results.
