RHOOSE U15s 9
COGAN U15s B 1
VALE Junior Soccer League side Rhoose looked to attack from the first whistle and opened the scoring when Josh Morgan was found in space by Dylan White and his instinctive turn and strike found the top corner.
Josh Brown was solid in the middle of the park and played a pinpoint pass into the path of Matt Cottington who used his blistering pace to pull away from the Cogan defence before unleashing an unstoppable strike. Joshua Caveill worked tirelessly alongside Nick Peteras, and Daniel Cope made some terrific runs down the wing.
Cogan looked sharp on the break but came up against Joe Hopkins and Lee Bartlett who thwarted each attack. Jay Coles was in great form and had a number of assists, with both Cottington and Morgan grabbing hat-tricks. Tom Hubbard made a number of outstanding crosses and 'keeper Harry Morgan-Grant was called into action a number of times. Patrick O’Carroll scored his first of the season with a brilliantly executed spot kick.
