NONAGENARIAN Dick Chambers and octogenarian Bill Riches were among the guests when Barry's Brynhill Golf Club seniors section held its annual dinner.
Indeed, club captain Mike Moore and his wife, Sandra, were invited in order to lower the average age of the party!
With seniors captain Derek Coombes, accompanied by his wife, Helena, presiding, members, wives and friends enjoyed a superb three-course meal provided by Julie Bannister and her staff. Flowers were presented to Mrs Moore and Mrs Coombes by seniors vice-captain Tony Davies.
During a really pleasant evening enjoyed by all, tales and jokes of athletic prowess and the general well being of the seniors section abounded.
Seniors captain Mr Coombes was thanked for all the hard work undertaken during in his year of office.
