Tynny must find killer instinct

VALE Soccer League side Tynny returned to winning ways on Saturday.

Tynny created the vast majority of the first-half chances half but, in a similar way to recent matches, failed to convert any of them to go into the break at 0-0.

Midway through the second half, Tynny finally managed to make the breakthrough after Jodie Shepherd's neat flick in the box was volleyed home.

In a game they should have wrapped much earlier, Tynny allowed the visitors to stay in the game by spurning further chances.

Two excellent pieces of defending late on gave Nick Haincock the man of the match award, with a brilliantly timed sliding tackle/block inside the box being followed by a goal line clearance to prevent what could have been a draw.

Tynny will need to learn how to kill games off to avoid any further dropped points.

Thanks again to Dave and all the Tynny for the great post-match food.

Squad: C Coleman, J Brana, N Haincock, J Clissett, D Miller, A Colburn, L Union (capt), J Reed, J Shepherd, R Smith, S Bellamy, S Eveleigh, G Union and Ll Union.
