ONE of the darts world’s youngest referees has just returned home to Barry after overseeing the Men’s final at the 40th Winmau World Masters in Hull.
Former All Saints Church in Wales primary and Westbourne pupil Huw Ware, who is currently studying at Cardiff University, has been congratulated on his success by Vale MP Alun Cairns.
Alun said: “I was delighted to hear that Huw has had yet another successful tournament. This is third time at this event and has been the crowning glory for him this year. He started the year with another faultless performance on the Lakeside Stage, was made Head of Sport for Cardiff University TV and recently picked up the award for Cardiff Student Media Personality of the year.
Huw is now getting ready for the next World Professional Darts Championships in January 2014 and I wish him every success.”
