BEST NETT: Returning one of the best nett scores, Dave Dranfield receives his prize fromBrynhill Golf Club captain Mike Moore.
ADVERSE weather conditions forced the Captain's Prize weekend at Barry's Brynhill Golf Club to be a two-day event spread over three weeks. More than130 members participated in the competition, with the two overall winners receiving watches. There were many other superb prizes. Captain Mike Moore thanked everyone at the club for making his weekend so enjoyable and reminded Richard Pierce, who is chair of handicaps, that, in order to win a competition, you should remember to sign your card. Which Richard didn't do!
Mike also had a special thank you for his wife, Sandra, for all her help and support.
The results were:
