BARRY boxer Lee Selby has been signed up to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.
British and Commonwealth Featherweight champion Lee will fight for the first time under Hearn in Blackpool’s Winter Gardens on April 20 as the undercard of Brian Rose’s fight with Joachim Alcine.
Selby will then co-headline a show in Cardiff on June 15 alongside new stablemate Gavin Rees.
Lee, 26, said he was delighted to sign up with Matchroom Boxing.
“It’s going to be a big boost for my career as all my fights will be shown on Sky Sports,” he said.
“I have got three set dates now for fights and hopefully I will defend both my British and European belts, before moving on to a World title.”
He added: “I’m looking forward to fighting in Cardiff with my own crowd behind me.
“Training has been going well and with five and a half weeks until my next fight everything is going to plan.”
