HARDY members of Barry Island-based Whitmore Bay Surf Life Saving Club braved the elements for their annual Boxing Day swim. Around 20 volunteers braved rain and gales to take a dip in the Bristol Channel.

Young club members also enjoyed an end-of-year party with Barry mayor Cllr Les Sword.
