Scout post returns
THIS year's Christmas scout post stamps are available now at a variety of shops in Barry.
The price of each stamp is just 16p - a considerable saving on the cost of posting greeting cards to loved ones.
The scout post raises significant funds for scouting in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
Every year, the 1st Barry Sea Scout Group organises the sale of stamps, the collection, sorting and delivery of:
l 110,000 Christmas cards;
l exchanging 462kg of mail with Cardiff groups;
l 61 rounds of mail.
The latest opportunity to post your cards will be on Monday, December 4, and it will be delivered from Sunday, December 10.
Stamps can be purchased and cards can be posted at the following outlets:
