Get up early and stay out late to catch dog-mess culprits

REGARDING the articles on XFOR cracking down on dog fouling and littering.

These officers should work between 6.30am and 7.30am, and 10pm and midnight, as that’s when a lot of dogs are taken out to do their business. Take a walk down St Mary’s Avenue or Dockview Road to see the evidence.

There should be a law passed that if caught out with your dog without a dog-poo bag, you pay the penalty.

It’s getting beyond now, and I can’t see it improving.

I’m sure the road sweepers could tell the XFOR officers which roads have the most mess, and would agree with me that it’s not done in broad daylight.
