Big two on way out?

I WOULD like to give my warmest congratulations to Dr Ian Johnson on his success in the Buttrills by-election, winning both seats from Labour.
Is this a sign that at last the people of Barry are tiring of the big two and their false promises to halt the demise of this once great town? I would like to thank all those who took the time to vote and especially those who voted for me as an Independent, and I will continue to share my views with Councillors Johnson and Egan to keep Buttrills foremost in the future of Barry.
