Throw a tea party
9:27am Thursday 2nd August 2012 in Letters
AS the Marie Curie Hospice Penarth is undergoing building work as part of a refurbishment, we will not be able to hold our usual annual garden party this weekend – but we would be very pleased if our many local supporters hold their own ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ or any other small event to help support the charity in a different way this year. Marie Curie Hospice Penarth costs over £3.9 million a year to fund and almost 70 per cent of this is from voluntary contributions including money raised from running events and local fundraising.
This helps the hospice provide high quality care to patients with cancer and other life limiting illnesses in hospice wards, day therapy clinics and in their own homes.
Ring the fundraising team on 02920 426068 if you would like to find out how you can help.
