THIS year is the second year that we have been without one of the most respected solicitors in the town.

Colin Jones was not only a solicitor but to many of us a great friend who we were lucky enough to have spent many magic and funny moments with.

Last year I organised a golf day that was attended by many people who through work and friendship new Colin.

Time flies so fast that it is that time of year again and "Bilbo's" golf day is here on Saturday, July 28, at Brynhill Golf Club.

The tee is booked from 9am to 2pm (the start sheet is in the pro shop), with the cost being £15 including your round of golf and an evening disco, if you don't play golf you can still dance the night away for a fiver. Telephone Brynhill Golf Club on 01446 720277.

All proceeds are going to go to a little boy who needs a bit of help. He is Daniel Downton, and the Cwtch Fund.
