THE next meeting of the Vale Dyspraxia Support Group will be on Monday, July 2, at 7.30pm in the Civic Offices, Holton Road, Barry.
Keith Towler, Children’s Commissioner for Wales, will address the meeting and is keen to talk to young people in the group about the issues they face.
All parents and carers of children and young people with dyspraxia and associated conditions should come along, with their children, to this important meeting.
The group supports children and young people with dyspraxia (as well as related conditions such as dyslexia, ADHD, Asperger’s Syndrome, OCD, Tourettes) and their parents and carers by providing advice and information as well as an opportunity to exchange experiences. The Vale Dyspraxia Support Group operates a 24-hour help and advice line on 01446 738945. There is also a website at www.vdsg.org.uk and the group also runs social activities and a laptop loan programme.
