Top local cricketers

I WAS at a loose end last Saturday so decided to watch some local cricket.

After some deliberation I decided to pop down to Hayes Point in Sully to watch the Barry Wanderers in action.

I am so glad I did because I can honestly say the whole day was an utter joy. The setting next to the old Sully Hospital is stunning, the cricket played was of a very impressive standard and I was made to feel most welcome by all the boys.

I never realised you could watch such a high standard of cricket in the local area. I am now a huge fan of the Wanderers and wish the team all the best for the rest of the season.
