WHILST I am a responsible dog owner like many people in Barry, there are the few that aren’t.

I witnessed a man letting his dog foul twice recently in Borough Avenue.

His answer to why he was letting the dog do his mess in the middle of the pavement, yards from children playing, was he ‘didn’t have a bag to pick it up.’ Who goes out walking their dog with nothing to pick up the animal’s mess?

People like this are giving people that pick up their dog’s mess a bad name.

With many children playing in the street, it’s unfair to them, it is like a minefield. Please think.
