HERE is a photo of my daughter Lauren Furnish with Jane Hutt AM at the VQ Day on Wednesday, June 24 (celebrating vocational success).

Lauren was beaten to the award by a fashion designer, but was one of the last four finalists aged under 25.

Lauren started when she was 17 in our family-run business and went on to work in SA Brains, and Access Scaffolding.

She went on to gain a place with Broomfield & Alexander on a training scheme at the age of 18. She also completed the AAT accounting qualification levels 2, 3, and 4 in the evenings in Barry College and is currently working towards the Institute of Chartered accountants.

We are very proud of her.
