AS I was driving home from the Barry Yacht Club last week, I had an interesting view of a low loader removing carriages from the old railway society in Plymouth Road.

It is sad that they are leaving, as the area gave enthusiasts a lot of interest about the old days of steam engines and carriages and the like, and it gave many a lot of pleasure.

Just another bit of Barry history being lost...
