I HAVE had an allotment for a couple of years and everything was fine until the recession kicked in.

Recently I have been the victim of several thefts from my plot.

A wheelbarrow was stolen a couple of months ago, and a couple of weeks ago my rhubarb was pulled up.

Then, on Sunday, June 28, somebody took a tray of seedling pepper plants off my plot.

Allotment community? I don’t think so!
