WE’VE had some glorious weather over the past few days – and I hope that continues and we can welcome in a long and successful summer season.
With Good Friday taking place tomorrow, then the bank holiday on Monday – I hope it will allow everyone to take some time to relax and spend it with their friends and families.
In my view – the whole debate over using the term “Easter” was rather unfortunate.
While we shouldn’t shy away from the fact it is a Christian festival – there’s no reason why celebrating it should offend people of other faiths or indeed none at all.
I’d therefore like to take this opportunity to wish all Vale residents – religious or not – a very happy Easter.
