I WOULD like to reply to the recent anonymous letter sent to me about the Bassett area of Barry.
I can confirm that after chatting to council officials that the lights at Bassett Park will now go off at 7pm instead of 9pm.
Officers are currently looking at the lights at the park with the view to switching them off earlier.
In respect of the drains at Upper Holton Road, mechanical sweepers and road sweepers will keep the area clean as necessary.
