DISGUSTING, outrageous, total greed. Welsh politicians are slamming claims in for taxpayers’ money spent on recent trips to France to watch Wales play football.

We are all aware of the almost £10,000 Carwyn Jones cost the taxpayer to hire a private plane to go to France to watch Wales play England. Now it has been highlighted that our very own secretary of state for Wales Alun Cairns claimed more than £3,000 from us taxpayers to go to France to watch two games.

And you have a Welsh Office spokesman trying to justify this by claiming Mr Cairns travelled standard class on commercial flights, and Eurostar. Wow, Whoopee doo.

Alun Cairns in 2014-15 had expenses of more than £190,000, and don’t forget these politicians have just received massive pay rises.

Cardiff is now due to open its seventh food bank. Perhaps the likes of Carwyn Jones, Alun Cairns and Vaughan Gething should think of the people of Wales who are struggling to pay bills, and put food on the table, before they decide to knock the taxpayer.
