I WOULD like to thank all of the 400 Rhoose ward residents who voted for me in the by-election, and indeed those who took the time to vote for other candidates.
One of the most important freedoms we enjoy as citizens is the right to vote.
I also wish to congratulate Adam Riley for his well-deserved win. Our friend and very sadly missed former councillor Phil Clarke would, I am sure, be very pleased to see that Rhoose ward has retained Independent representation.
