ON LEAVING Porthkerry Park I noticed two men stood waiting for their dog to finish its business.
I watched for a while, they tried to look the other way and when the dog had finished they promptly walked to their car without picking up the mess.
I then went to the Buttrills playing field where I saw two crisp packets and an empty bottle on the grass moments before almost doing the splits on, yes you guessed it dog’s mess, which was particularly nasty and filled almost every gap in the sole of my shoes.
I then proceeded past the cemetery on the pavement, this time I had a very lucky escape and not for the first time here, from yet another rather large lump, but no doubt some other unsuspecting individual wasn’t so lucky.
And you want to take your dogs on the beach through the summer? The dog owners of these kind of incidents should be ashamed of themselves. So come on, it’s your duty so clean up after your dog.
