PATIENTS with serious illnesses such as cancer will be able to access the latest treatments due to Plaid Cymru’s negotiations with the new government. Our agreement will see the creation of a New Treatments Fund and will spell the end of the postcode lottery for new treatments.
I am proud that Plaid Cymru has been able to help ease this problem.
As well as securing a fund to help seriously ill patients access new treatments, Plaid Cymru has also ensured that more GPs are trained and recruited in Wales, we have set the foundation for economy-boosting projects across every part of Wales, we have ensured the creation of 100,000 apprenticeships, and we will help parents access 30 hours of free childcare per week.
From the outset of this new Assembly term Plaid Cymru has shown how an effective opposition can deliver tangible benefits for people, and you can trust us to keep delivering as we hold the new government to account.
