THE beach dog ban is only in place for three to four months, which is not long, plus there are other venues where owners can take their dogs.
I for one wouldn’t want somebody’s dog running around my children and myself whilst we are trying to relax, having sandwiches or an ice cream. You take the risk of some dogs biting, cocking their leg up over you or your umbrella, etc.
I understand that the owners bring a lot of revenue to the businesses in the winter and it’s like a slap in the face during the summer.
Not everybody is a dog lover and when it comes to priorities the health of families comes first.
