IN RESPONSE to DJ Radford’s comments in your publication on March 31, doesn’t he or she realise we are all in this together?
Cuts have to be made so we can fund the MPs’ expenses.
The law states how much we need to live on, yet MPs can ignore such laws as they abide by the rule, which allow them almost unlimited costs. Obviously Mr Cairns has expensive tastes, if as you stated he claimed £190,000 plus exorbitant salary.
The statement “We are all in this together” may have been made publicly but obviously it was aimed at parliament.
They have not seen cuts, only further funding.
