DEAR editor,
I recently received a letter from a resident of the Bassett area of Barry expressing concerns about the state of the area. The concerns raised are the poor state of a collapsing wall at the Hub and the poor state of the pavements and drains at upper Holton Road.
I wish the author would leave their details with me so that I can rely directly to them but as they haven't I have decided to reply via the press. To keep them informed I have now taken these matters up with the head of service at the Vale Council.
