DEAR editor,

On behalf of the some 30 members of the Friends and Neighbours Senior Citizen Group I would like to take the opportunity of thanking some 180 Students of Superstars in The Making for their excellent Winter Showcase at Barry Memorial Hall.

The group attended the performance as part of their busy Christmas Programme.

The show was immensely enjoyed by all and it was great to see many of the members singing along to the old melodies.

With music and lyrics from West End Musicals and also from Broadway there was something for all tastes in music and ages.

Without a doubt Baby Stars and Twinkles Stars stole the hearts of many as it was amazing to see such little ones have their first time on stages.

"They were little stars on the night", comments from the members of the audience "oh love them", "little darlings", "They look so cute" made it obvious how much they were enjoyed.

The confidence and dedication from the students of Budding Stars and Rising Stars as was the MTP class was obvious from start to finish of the show, it took your breathe away how fast it flowed.

It was great to see it so well supported with some 1,000 people filling the Hall and a standing ovation at the end was very well deserved.

Well Done to all.
