I WOULD like to acknowledge a recent anonymous letter sent to me from the Bassett area of Barry.
I totally agree with his comments made by the author on the range of issues raised including poor state of the pavements in upper Holton Road and the drains not being cleaned enough.
I have now requested that the head of service investigate these claims with a view to action. Clearly more needs to be done by the Labour-led Vale Council in the Bassett area.
