THE Thompson Street Fun Day which was held on Saturday, August 22, was a tremendous success for all those who attended.
The weather held, the sunshine was tremendous which added to everybody's enjoyment.
The children loved the bouncy castle and pillow fight, supplied by Anthony Price of Barry.
This year we introduced a magic show, put on by Arnold, which went down a treat, who also went around doing balloon shapes for the children.
Barry Community First have to be thanked for the paint bike and all their other tremendous help, we couldn't have done it without you.
Thank you also to the South Wales Police, your help was very much valued.
A personal thank you to our hardworking AM Jane Hutt and also local councillor Pam Drake.
Thank you as well to all Newydd Housing staff, to Cath Kinson, Linda Chamberlain, Terry and for the help from the People Centre.
