GOVERNMENT Cuts, Council Cuts, CUTS, CUTS, everywhere except when it comes to politicians pay.

MPs to get a £7000 pay rise and now the Welsh Government AMs are in line for a whopping £10,000 a year pay rise, thanks to the obvious incompetence of the Remuneration Boards.

These boards were put in place when the MPs expenses scandal surfaced, it is quite obvious they are not fit for purpose, and are way out of touch with what's going on outside their cocoons.

The reasons they have hiked up the Welsh Governments salaries are due to the extra duties and to attract the right people. Pardon me but the so called extra duties were brought about by the Assembly itself, Carwyn Jones and his tribe wanted the extra devolved powers from Westminster he asked for them. If they can't manage with what they have tough, and to attract the right calibre of person to the high office of Assembly Minister do you really think the bunch we have now are really worth what they are paid now.

You take Carwyn Jones for example, if he accepts the rise in 2016 his salary rises to £140,000 a year, do we really think this man is worth that amount of money, since he has taken the reins just look what has happened to our NHS, he has cut it to ribbons, the Ambulance service is in disarray, hospital waiting lists are a scandal, he has stolen money from us, the residents of Wales which was given to him by the Westminster Government to reduce Council Tax bills.

The presiding officer will see her salary rise to over £100,000 a year to do what? Welsh Ministers salary will rise to £100,000 a year, not one of these members of the Welsh Government deserve a single penny rise when you see nurses getting a measly 1 per cent rise, what about a £10,000 rise for our fireman, police officer, council worker, care worker, these are the people who deserve such a rise not our self serving money grabbing politicians, I do understand some have said they will refuse the rise but the noise coming from others is deafening.

The remuneration board should resign and hang their disgusting, out of touch heads in shame.
