WITH just over 17 days to go as I write this letter, I would like to remind your readers of something just a little bit special, which is taking place at London's O2 Arena on Saturday, May 30.

Barry boy Lee Selby, the former Welsh, Celtic, British, Commonwealth, European and two time WBC international champion, challenges Evgeny Gradovich, the Californian based Russian for the IBF Featherweight championship of the world.

Local business have helped support Lee with sponsorship, Jeff White Motors, Nina Estate Agents, LDS Motor Factors, RIM Motors, A and L Scrap Metals, The Muscle Beach Gym and Penarth Stonemasonry.

So now local people, you and me, can lend our support and be part of something special on May 30, a local boy fighting for a world title.

I would like to wish Lee all the best for his upcoming fight and bring the belt home to Wales.

Craig Smyth
