I AM writing to you to ask your readers to have a Night In for Macmillan this May.

Macmillan's Night In is simply about having friends round for a catch up, a laugh and something to eat and drink. There’s no 2am taxi to find and no queue at the bar – instead Macmillan wants you to enjoy some quality time in with your favourite people.

Last year, our supporters across the UK raised an amazing £2m by hosting a Night In.

This year, we’re appealing for people across Wales to sign up to host their own Night In and help us to raise even more to support people affected by cancer.

Night In is a fun, hassle-free way to help raise money for Macmillan and ensure no one faces cancer alone. It’s simple to arrange and, best of all, you get to have a good time with friends while supporting Macmillan. We’ll even make sure you get a Night In kit to get the night off to a great start.

There are a million reasons for a Night In this May. To make a difference, simply register your interest at http://nightin.org.uk, wait for your free Night In kit and ask your friends to donate whatever they can afford to your Night In.

For information or support from Macmillan, call us free on 0808 808 00 00 (Monday to Friday, 9am–8pm) or visit macmillan.org.uk.

Thank you.

Susan Morris,

General manager for Macmillan in Wales
