The Rank Hovis Mill
I was very sad to read that the Rank Hovis Mill is to be demolished. My Grandfather Charles Thomas Ringrose came to Barry with Joseph Rank to build this Mill, he was a Millwright.
My Grandfather stayed on in Barry and continued working there well into his 70s as the war was on.
Another iconic landmark of Barry lost.
