REGARDING the cutbacks at the local libraries, I was with the Bipolar Group who used the room upstairs at one stage.
We finished up, and then the rooms were charged so we would not have been able to afford it. The libraries are invaluable to read books, borrow CDs and DVDs.
It is handy to do some research on the PCs - I do not think volunteers would be a lot of use on helping people log on, etc.
The staff in Barry have been very good at helping with using the PCs and I do think that cutbacks need to be made elsewhere, after all it is the main feature in town as all the rest is charity shops or general retail outlets.
