I WOULD like to say a big thank you to the people who came to my aid on Wednesday 4.
I was walking to meet my daughter and grandson at the cemetery, I got as far as Williams Store and went to cross the road into Barry Road and fell.
There was a young man pushing a pushchair and a stationary lorry. The young man and the lorry driver both stopped and asked if I was ok, I said I was and the driver got back into his cab and the young man seen me across the road and carried on where he was going.
A little further up Barry Road I walked into a hedge and a fence when a kind lady stopped in her car and asked if she could help, I explained where I was going and she said get in and I will drop you off to your daughter, which she did.
I would like to thank you all once again for your aid.
Mrs Christine Duddridge
Barry
