MR D J Radford of Barry writes one week that immigrants are to blame for everything that is wrong in our society and condemns anyone for suggesting anything different.

However, last week he writes that it is our politicians – council, Assembly and National – who are to blame for all the problems in society.

So, Mr Radford, please could you clarify whether it is immigrants with no vote or economic power who are to blame, or is it the bosses who cut jobs and the politicians who let them who are to blame?

He also demands to know why no politician has lost their job. As a Ukip supporter does Mr Radford include the former Tories Douglass Carswell, Mark Reckless and Lord Stevens (now all Ukip) in this condemnation?

Or any of their MEPs who, despite a large wage, have claimed large amounts of EU expenses (funded by the UK taxpayer) and will secure a nice, fat pension? What about the Ukip councillors who enjoy all the benefits of council expenses?

Are these establishment figures living on the minimum wage, or donating any of their wages to the causes, such as foodbanks, that Mr Radford quite rightly supports?

What confuses me, Mr Radford, is that one week you write as if you are a member of the left wing, supporting workers facing the sack, condemning NHS cuts, austerity and political corruption, but another week you write in support of a right wing anti-working party such as Ukip?

Are you a member of Ukip or the Socialist Workers Party? Please make your mind up Mr Radford because from the tone of your last letter you appear to have an honest passion for improving the lot of ordinary people but you seem to have latched on to a party that is, ideologically, in total opposition to your views.
