I REFER to the recent letter from Karen Tyre and would wish to respond accordingly.

Ms Tyre states that Nigel Farage has obtained his millions for funding his party by his millionaire friends, yeah and the point being, who cares where they get their funding.

The Tories get their funding from their rich mates in the city, while the Labour party is bailed out by the trade unions. She then goes on to say about a leaflet put out by Ukip regarding Islamic terror abuse of our children - he is dead right, not so long back IS thugs murdered women and children in their own village, where was Ms Tyre when this happened.

The rest of her comments were laughable and without substance. Nigel Farage has already said that he wants our borders closed to any further migrants coming to the UK, except those who can benefit the UK economy, and quite rightly so.

I wonder what Ms Tyre would think if a member of her family or friends were mown down by an immigrant who had no driving licence, or insurance, this is happening now.

Not so long ago a young girl was murdered by an immigrant who came to this country and had already been convicted of murder in his own country. Ms Tyre claims that I turn the fire on the Labour party and not the rich friends of Ukip.

Was Ms Tyre aware that the Milliband brothers are very wealthy, did she know that Cameron is part of an extremely wealthy family. Did Ms Tyre know that George Osborne has a nice little £4million trust fund set up for him by his father, did Ms Tyre know that most of the Tory cabinet are multi millionaires, so if you want to compare wealth of Ukip’s benefactors, you perhaps need to just look around the rest of the pile before firing your gun.

It must also have slipped Ms Tyres' mind that Ukip last year gained 24 Ukip MEPs, and also had elected to our own Parliament two MPs. What would Ms Tyre say to all those people who voted for these people, would she call them racist, I am certainly not a racist but I do know where my vote is going along with millions of others.

I find Ms Tyres' comments regarding the fact that Ukip are setting a dangerous precedent that they are using the most vulnerable in our society as scapegoats to be insulting. Ukip certainly do not need to do this as the Tories and Labour party are doing a grand job themselves of wrecking the lives of the sick, disabled, the elderly, the poor, it’s also a damning claim on Cameron’s government that over a million people are now using foodbanks.

One final point perhaps Ms Tyre could inform us of the last time a Ukip member was sent to prison for fiddling the taxpayer.
