I PARKED my car in Holton Road this morning at 10.42 outside the Halifax Building Society and went to the cash machine to obtain a statement after which I went inside for about ten minutes then I went to the library to have a look around.
On returning to my car around 11.25 I found a Penalty Ticket notice for £70. On checking the roadside sign I found that the council had changed them so that only delivery vehicles are allowed to park on Holton road until noon every day except a Sunday.
I think that all residents should be aware as I have not seen anything in my local paper referring to the changes.
