ALL of us need to congratulate – without congratulations – Jane Hutt’s upstanding contribution to women’s rights in our local community and at a higher level.
Her work for the local women’s shelter and her anti-domestic violence stance is most noble.
It is time more men supported local women in their sometimes life-threatening domestic situations. Local feminist groups can, I am sure, give support to men’s shelters and the non-widely held view that men can be victims of what is both psychological and physical abuse at home and in the work place. Please check both views at the police station.
