WITH reference to the merger with Cardiff City Council bring it on I say and get rid of this shower that have been destroying Barry for decades.
Barry has everything beautiful beaches, Cold Knap, Porthkerry Park, we are truly blessed. However the whole area looks sad and neglected Barry is a mess, we have congestion of traffic due to insufficient roads in and out of Barry especially Barry Island too many houses with no facilities to cater for families no cinema and oh yes our outdoor pool gone that is still the topic of conversation amongst us old Barrians. The Watchtower decaying away that will gone soon. Why was not the Butlins pool saved huge advantage for Barry Island when it rained. The waterfront what a joke that is hideous flats and a supermarket.
Goodbye Vale Council and good riddance welcome Cardiff City Council.
