SO talks are underway to test the waters to merge the councils of Wales from 22 to at least 12.
I read with horror that the Vale could be merged with Cardiff Council. This would be a total disaster for the people of the Vale. Nothing fills me with more dread than to be part of Heather Joyce and Russell Goodway's empire. You only have to look at the way they have run Cardiff Council of late to see what a bad job they are doing.
If these two councils are merged the Vale will be bankrupted within a few months. I think I would rather merge with Walt Disney than Cardiff Council. God help us.
