THE PTA committee of Ysgol Gymraeg Nant Talwg would like to thank parents and local businesses for their overwhelming support of our Christmas fair held at the school on December 17, 2013.
Due to us being such a new school with pupils numbers being just over 100, we appreciate all the support we are given.The fayre raised over £750 for the PTA which will be used to provide quality playground equipment for the school once building of the school is complete.
2013 was a succesful year, with the PTA arranging a variety of fundraising events including a disco for the children and a quiz night for parents, teachers and friends of the school.
We must in particular thank Tesco, The Hair and Beauty Den, Homemade in Wales, Barry Leisure Centre, The Cherry Orchard, Coconuts, Jungle Jacks and Head Office for their kind donations of prizes for our raffle and look forward to a successful 2014.
