I AM writing to pass on my thanks to all the staff at Vale ECAS at Barry Hospital.
My elderly mum was referred there after numerous falls and generally unwell. Our doctors referred us to the day care centre where we spent four hours with various professionals. We were treated like VIPs and provided with light lunch together with coffee.
The doctor allocated to my mum is Dr Elizabeth Davies and the nurse was Mrs Goddard. Mum was treated as a 'person who mattered' and felt very comfortable in the lovely surroundings.
It is very refreshing to go to a hospital/establishment where the elderly are treated with the respect they deserve.
