Delight as facilities remain open

I WOULD like to commend the recent actions of the owners of The Mount Sorrel Hotel, Grand UK Holidays and just say how nice it is to know that big companies do listen.
Due to unforeseen circumstances they made the decision to close the health and leisure facilities including the pool, sauna and well maintained gym which came as a major disappointment to many of the members who have used the facilities for many years (I myself nearly 10) and see it as not just a work out but also a social experience meeting many people from all over the country who visit the hotel year after year.
Nick and his fantastic team at the hotel handled the situation brilliantly and were professional to the end even checking the pool levels, cleaning the sauna, gym and changing rooms on the last day to make sure it was fine for the members to use even though it was closing that day. Always immaculate. I felt major upset on that last day and saw many members feeling the same way as well as the staff so decided to send an email over to Grand UK Holidays with the slight hope they might listen to the customer and to my absolute delight two days later they made the amazing decision to reopen the full facilities, which has left all of the members and Nick and the team elated.
It goes to show that big organisations do listen and I would like to say on behalf of everyone at the Mount Sorrel leisure facilities a big thank you and also to the staff for not giving up hope either.
