Regeneration money let down

ON September 12 the Barry & District News reported that Barry had missed out on £15m regeneration money.
We are Wales’ largest town and I simply cannot believe that we haven’t qualified at all.
Surely the Welsh Government need to offer an explanation of why they rejected our application? What are the council leader and cabinet doing to change their minds? What is our Assembly Member doing in our interests? After all, isn’t Jane Hutt the Finance Minister? Surely this would put us in a strong position.
When we receive answers to these questions, we may have a better understanding of why other areas have been prioritised over Barry. Once again, we have been left down by our local council and the politicians in Cardiff Bay.
